About GrowthRoute
GrowthRoute was born in 2008 to structure my activity as an independent practitioner. As a "start platform" for ventures and products, it is engineered to help growth companies realize major market breakthroughs.
A validated approach
to entrepreneurship.
Since then, multiple technology companies have entrusted me with dozens of missions. At the root of that success? A unique collaboration model.
Virtual incubator plus
First, I always seek to get "skin" in the game and align incentives by investing in collaborations through sweat equity and even seed funding. That particularity has made GrowthRoute a de facto "virtual incubator" partner - but one that's by your side on the frontlines, not letting you do all the heavy lifting.
Right incentives
+ right expertise
= successful missions
Then, GrowthRoute also takes an open, pragmatic approach to achieving results, by building and managing teams of independent contributors on a modular basis
(expand that topic by clicking here).
Who is GrowthRoute?
I often use the term "we" when talking about GrowthRoute, even though technically this is a one-person company. That may sound a little pompous, but there is a good reason for it: few of GrowthRoute's achievements are my work only.
Adhoc teams whenever required
GrowthRoute is designed as a flexible entity calling upon external expertise as needed. Pooling the right know-how quickly is one of GrowthRoute's core capabilities, and it is central to its flexible, cost-effective model.
Many projects have required that I work with a team of domain experts and on-demand providers. I have pre-selected a number of them, and we worked side-by-side to deliver on client objectives. Of course, the ultimate responsibility for the output always stays with GrowthRoute, meaning... me.
Market breakthrough engineer
It is not because teams don't work hard that the start-up and new product mortality rate is high: it is because they work hard on actions that do not make much difference
(click here for expanded thoughts on that point).
Early-stage challenges require dedicated expertise and cost-effective providers
The majority of new businesses and new products fail. Survey after survey, the main reasons are shown to be ineffective market strategy, product marketing and fundraising.
A sad fact:
most new products fail
The best entrepreneurs acknowledge and face this reality, taking appropriate action to align their product with the market and secure funding to grow at the right speed. Others ignore it, keep postponing action, and hope for a lucky break, that rarely materializes.
Tackling this problem is GrowthRoute's craft. Abysmal success rates point to flaws in general practices to growing startups, so I do things differently.
I identified the critical elements that make or break a startup trajectory, and act on those. Your product is one of them, of course. But just like the engine on a car, it is incomplete without many other elements. Developing the right commercialization process, finding the right partners and investors, and building your sales capabilities are other critical parts of your success that can't be left "for later".
That's why, to increase the probabilities of success of your venture or product, I focus first on identifying and creating real breakthroughs.
Mix all the above ingredients, add focus and hard work, and you get results that consistently make a difference in a company's trajectory.
Time, money and headache saver
In sum, through GrowthRoute and on-demand experts, I drive market breakthroughs.
